Trusted Agent The successful candidate for the Trusted Agent (TA) position ideally possesses an active TOP SECRET clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access, or at a minimum have an active TOP SECRET clearance and be eligible for SCI access. The TA will have at least 5 years’ of Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) experience in the Risk Management Framework (RMF) environment, preferably with complex Navy systems. The successful applicant will have familiarization with DCID 6/3 and ICD 503. Candidates must have experience with SCI A&A thru the use of Xacta/Manifest workflow. Applicants will know how to develop test plans, conduct security assessments and implement risk analysis to specific vulnerabilities. Additionally, the applicant must be proficient at developing mitigation strategies, ECRs, and remediation recommendations. The competitive candidate will have familiarity with DoD and National Institute for Standards and Testing (NIST) publications for the management of all aspects of the cybersecurity analysis and development of systems security packages. It is necessary for the successful candidate to be flexible in their customer service delivery and support approach to meet rapidly changing parameters in a dynamic consulting environment. As this is a client-facing position, professional communication skills and experience with Microsoft Office suite applications is imperative. Familiarization with the DoD RMF A&A and EMASS is also desired. This is a broad position offering vulnerability testing activities as well as engineering support. Cross Domain experience would be helpful. Job Requirements:

  • TOP SECRET with SCI security clearance (minimum active TS and eligible for SCI access)
  • 5+ years of experience with Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) Risk Management Framework (RMF), including, development of security assessment plans, conducting assessments, executing and compiling of assessment results for client security assessment reports
  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field (Master’s Degree in Engineering, Information Systems or Cybersecurity preferred)
  • Possess Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification
  • Ability to independently conduct thorough security assessments in a lab environment and at client sites (e.g., ship, sub, Network Operations Center (NOC))
  • Familiar with automated vulnerability scanning assessment tools including WASSP and SECSCN and their operation to produce all security artifacts for the system accreditation package
  • Ability to analyze and identify cybersecurity threats from client data, including system event logs, network and host IDS logs, and anti-virus logs to determine system risk
  • Desired experience as a Trusted Agent for the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) in the SCI domain
  • Must be able to multi-task, work independently and as part of a team, share workloads, and deal with sudden shifts in project priorities.
